OMEX Environmental Ltd is able to supply equipment for site trials of Magmex, so that Plant Managers can enjoy the benefits of applying the product to the process without having to alter any of the existing infrastructure.
OMEX offer a range of trials units from an IBC flexible dosing plant that is able to fit in places where space is restricted to bulk trials units for long term trials, dependant on a customers' requirements.
Small Scale Magmex Trials
For smaller and/or indoor spaces or for the cases where the product will be supplied in IBCs, OMEX can provide the site with a 3m3 portable dosing unit. The IBC Magmex Dosing Unit is a compact, flexible and easy to operate dosing plant that is able to fit in places where space is restricted. It is used as a small scale dosing plant during lime/caustic replacement trials. Its main use is feeding Magmex into any type of effluent treatment plant via its dosing pump. Furthermore, the unit is equipped with a 3m3 built-in tank for storing Magmex. The tank is designed to be loaded with material from IBCs, then dosed from the tank into the wastewater treatment system.
Bulk Magmex Trials
OMEX can provide a site with a dosing system that can hold up to 25 tonnes of product. This system can operate independently of the effluent treatment plant as a stand-alone dosing unit or as a part of the SCADA system for online operating and monitoring at the effluent treatment plant. The unit can be operated on a continuous, semi-continuous or batch (cycle) dosing basis.
During their operation both units are fully supported by our experienced staff, who will also be happy to help with any further enquiries on our products and Magmex site trial units.
It is important that the trial runs until the full quantity of Magmex is used up to acquire a representative spread of results accommodating any production fluctuations. Depending on the results of the first month, it can be agreed if the trial should be continued for a longer period of time or a plan for the permanent supply of Magmex onsite can be discussed.
