Solution Compound Fertiliser Range

OMEX solution compound fertilisers can contain NPK in various mixes. Every drop contains the complete analysis and does not segregate, so every square centimetre of soil is guaranteed to receive the correct ratio of nitrogen, phosphate and potash.

NPK Solutions

OMEX solution compound fertilisers are ideal for application with cultivation drills and sub-soilers, which can significantly improve the establishment of crops such as oilseed rape.  It is also possible to combine a pre-emergence herbicide with the application of solution fertilisers, and they can be used for placement on potatoes, where the fertiliser can be very accurately positioned.

Most requirements can be supplied from the standard range of compounds, however OMEX also offers a custom mixing service for exact requirements if necessary.

Starter Fertiliser

Liquid nitrogen, with or without phosphate plus Polymex, applied with cultivation drills and sub-soilers can significantly improve the establishment of crops such as oilseed rape.  

It is recommended to use some phosphate within the mix.  Because phosphate is fully water soluble it is more accessible to the plant at peak time for early root development.

Application of low doses of nitrogen and phosphate helps establishment but does not remove the need to replace nutrients taken up through the whole life of the crop, otherwise soil reserves will be depleted.

Placed starter fertiliser doses of nitrogen and phosphate plus Polymex for crops such as maize and oilseed rape can dramatically improve establishment rates.

Placement of solution compound fertilisers offer significant advantages over solid placement:

  • nutrients are fully dissolved and available within the soil immediately
  • minimised handling – pump transfer, no bag handling or disposal
  • no clogging or blocking, no dust
  • rapid crop response
