An inorganic liquid formulation containing manganese, magnesium, nitrogen and sulphur, SuperMn is a unique balanced formulation which improves the uptake of all nutrients in a cost effective form.

Most agricultural and horticultural crops including cereals, oilseed rape and potatoes, sugar beet, legumes and vegetables.

Manganese is a micronutrient that is essential for many plant functions, particularly in enzyme systems. Manganese is involved in photosynthesis and change of leaf colour is often the first visual symptom of deficiency.

Manganese Deficiency
Manganese deficiency seriously impairs crop growth, quality and yield.

Manganese deficiency affects many crops including cereals, vegetables, brassicas, fruit, root crops and horticultural produce.

Deficiencies are more likely to occur in crops grown on organic and peaty soils with pH above 6.0 or mineral soils with a pH above 6.5.

Use SuperMn when deficiency is diagnosed or suspected, or as a maintenance dressing to prevent less than optimal growth.

Apply 1.5-3 l/ha, in a minimum of 200 l/ha water.

The spray tank should be filled with half the required water. After shaking the container, measure the required amount of SuperMn and add to the tank whilst maintaining constant agitation. Add remaining water to correct dilution and spray.

Do not apply in tank mix with pesticides when crop is showing deficiency symptoms, is under stress, or in adverse weather conditions.

For more information on timing and application rates on horicultural crops, please refer to the SuperMn Technical Information for Horticulture.

Turf and Amenity

Manganese is the most common micro nutrient deficiency in the UK and as well as having an effect on the appearance of the sward, manganese deficiency can leave the grass more susceptible to Take All and generally impaired growth.

Many manganese products simply contain manganese, which can be difficult for the grass to use efficiently. By formulating SuperMn with other nutrients and a unique carbohydrate-based energy boost, manganese uptake has been shown to be better and plant responses are improved.

SuperMn also contains magnesium, nitrogen and sulphur plus the equivalence of 1 hour of sunshine to provide a boost in growth to aid rapid uptake of the manganese.
